Allergy Ready Training: Helping Schools and Nurseries become Allergy Ready!

Children with allergies rely on the adults around them to recognise an allergic reaction and respond appropriately.

Our training helps school and nursery staff develop the knowledge, awareness and confidence needed to support children with allergies safely in their setting.

With changes to allergy safety requirements coming into effect from September 2026, there has never been a better time to make sure your staff are allergy ready.

Why Allergy Training Matters

Allergic reactions can happen quickly and can be unpredictable. Staff need to know what to look for, what action to take and when an emergency response is required.

Our training is designed to be:

Practical – focused on real-life situations

Clear – easy for all staff to understand

Relevant – tailored to school and nursery environments

Concise – a focused 30-minute session

Interactive – with opportunities for questions and discussion

Training to support schools in preparing for Benedict’s Law

From September 2026, new statutory allergy safety guidance comes into effect for schools in England.

Known as Benedict’s Law, the new requirements strengthen allergy safety within schools and place greater emphasis on whole-school allergy awareness, emergency response and staff training.
